Polycera atra MacFarland, 1905
The body is translucent white with longitudinal bluish-black lines and yellow tubercles. The oral veil has 4-8 yellow-tipped papillae.
Polycera atra feeds on bryozoans genus Bugula and Membranipora villosa, Crisularia pacifica and the gorgonian Leptogorgia chilensis.
A very whitish form may be quite white with only a few black stripes)feeding on the bryozoan Membranipora.
Similar to Polycera alabe.
