Phyllodesmium pinnatum Moore & Gosliner, 2009

Phyllodesmium pinnatum is a new species Genus Phyllodesmium and was described in the year 2009.

The body colour is a whitish-grey or brownish-grey.The elongate cerata are flattened and tree-like.

Phyllodesmium pinnatum is zooxanthellae,such as the other members of the genus Phyllodesmium.They are "solar-powered sea slugs".

Phyllodesmium pinnatum very well camouflaged on their prey octocorals.
