Husbandry

Dendrodoris elongata Baba, 1936

Dendrodoris elongata have an elongate body. This sea slug moves like a leech or the aplysiid Dolabrifera dolabrifera.

The mantle edge can be very thin and folded.
In juveniles the dark spots are much more clearly. In adults the background colour becomes a more translucent grey. The brownish spots are lighter and he spots, sometimes linked.

Dendrodoris elongata was found in rocky habitats at depths of 2-52 m. This sea slug lays a cream egg mass.

This animal feeds probably on sponges.
