"Description: Colonies are encrusting with a smooth or nodular surface forming short branches. The septal pattern is highly variable.
Color: Mottled green or pale cream.
Habitat: Shallow reef environments.
Abundance: Locally common.
Similar Species: Porites lichen, which commonly has corallites aligned in rows. Corallites are similar to those of P. lutea and P. cocosensis."
