Husbandry

Chromodoris colemani Rudman, 1982

Chromodoris colemani is one of several very similar Chromodoris species, which pertain to the Chromodoris quadricolor color group. Of many of these animals it is not known whether they are distinct species or simply color morphs. Even Bill Rudman who described this species in 1982 is uncertain in this regard.

Specimens from the genus Chromodoris feed on certain sponge species in the wild and are thusly not suited for aquarium keeping since we cannot provide the right food for them.
