Info

Scorpaenodes barrybrowni is a very small deep-water scorpionfish known to date only from a few, limited parts of the Caribbean.
Due to its deep distribution, a water depth that can only be reached and explored with underwater seafloor, there is a distinct possibility of a larger distribution.

Etymology: The species name" barrybrowni" was named after Barry Brown, Curaçao, freelance photographer (www.coralreefphotos.com), who has discovered numerous new species in his career.
