Aegires albopunctatus MacFarland, 1905

The body is rough and firm to the touch(many spicules in the body wall). The body colour is white, sometimes scattered with brown small or larger brown spots. The white body is covered with fine opaque white specks, which give the name "albopunctatus". On the body are many tubercles, sometimes arranged in longitudinal rows, sometimes are very crowded. This numerous small cylindrical tubercles give this sea slug a warty appearance.Rhinophore are lemon yellow.
