The background colour is translucent pink or orange. Cerata are white or sometimes yellow tipped. On the cerata is a broad purple band. The oral tentacles are thin and longer than the rhinophores.
This species can be found in shallow waters and intertidal zones at depths of less than 200 metres.
Very similar is Flabellina arveloi known from Africa.
All species Genus Coryphellina feed on hydrozoon polpyps.
