Info

The Pacific Gorgonian Briareum stechei is a very hardy and durable gorgonian. The Briareum species are found in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. They are very common in nature, found in waters that are just a few inches deep to depths of 100 feet (30 m). The Briareum corals primarily form an unbranched, encrusting coral with a low profile stolon, or mat. Some species also have an erect growth and will sparsely form thick, short upright stalks or lobes from the mat.

Halte diese Koralle etwa 2 Jahre, In der Zeit ist sie fünf mal so gross geworden wie am Anfang, ohne Fütterung !
Trotz massiver Cyanoplage und Zeitweise nicht so optimaler Wasserwerte.
Wächst ohne Probleme auf andere Steine über und kann wohl zum Problem werden. Nesselt stark, meine Pilzkoralle mag das garnicht.
Sie mag kräftige, wechselnde Ströhmung, ohne diese zieht sie die Tentakel ein.
Steht bei mir in 60cm Tiefe unter HQI 250 / 14000K. Färbung ist ein leuchtendes grün.

Super zu halten. Hat eine schön leuchtend grüne Farbe. Liebt wechselseitige Strömung und viel Licht. Steht bei mir am Boden bei einer Lichtstärke von 2x250W HQI + 4x40W T5 blau.
( soweit ich weis kann sie verästelt, flächig oder auch säulenförmig wachsen, Denke das die Wuchsform von der Strömung und dem Licht abhängig ist)
Meine Stammt laut Händlerauskunft aus der Karibik.
