Paraclinus arcanus Guimarães & Bacellar, 2002

Very little is known about Paraclinus arcanus, and the first description is not freely available.

The blenny is endemic to Brazilian waters in the south-west Atlantic and lives in rock pools and shallow reefs.

There is currently no information on its diet.

Etymology: The species name “arcanus” was chosen after its habit of hiding under rocks.
