Erronea melanesiae F. A. Schilder, 1937

Erronea melanesiae is a shell snail from the family Cypraeidae Cypraeidae, which are called porcelain snails because of their smooth shell. The rounded housings have a narrow, toothed opening on the underside. The edge of the jacket is pushed over the case from both sides, forming a line in the pattern where it meets the back. Porcelain snails live predominantly in tropical seas. They are nocturnal omnivores.
