Percnon sinense was described from Hainan Island, Guangdong Province, China. It lives in reefs and inhabits small ledges and caves, often sitting upside down on the ceiling cave.
The rock crab has a typical appearance with its yellow eyes, yellow markings on the legs, the striped pattern on the shell and the light horizontal stripe on the front of the head.
Interestingly, little is known about Percnon sinense, even though the crab is not rare.
Similar to Percnon planissimum.
