Daira perlata (Herbst, 1790)

Daira is a genus of crabs and is the only genus in the family Dairidae. The genus has almost cosmopolitan distribution.

The Beaded Crab is an omnivore/carnivore species, that feeds on polychaete worms and small molluscs.

Daira perlata reported to be toxic.
