Turritopsis rubra (Farquhar, 1895)

Turritopsis rubra is a species of hydrozoan of the family Oceaniidae. Hydrozoons forming initially stolonial, later erect colonies.
Newly released medusa spherical, light orange , and adult medusa up to 7 mm high, bell-shaped, higher than wide. Manubrium with intensively red colour reder to the common name "Crimson Jelly".
