Characters: Colonies are composed of irregular branches, mostly circular in section, with little tendency to form an encrusting base. Branches are 10-15 millimetres thick. There is little fusion of monticules.

Similar Species: Hydnophora rigida, which has finer branches which are usually flattened and have fused monticules.

Ich habe diese Koralle seit ca 1 Monat in meinem Becken. Bis jetzt habe ich keine Probleme mit ihr und sie wächst unter meiner HQI Lampe ( 2 mal 150 Watt ) recht gut.

Sie mag viel Licht und eine leichte Strömung bei mir.
