Dermatobranchus tuberculatus Gosliner & Fahey, 2011

Dermatobranchus tuberculatus has recently been described in the year 2011.

Dermatobranchus tuberculatus is characterized by a mottled tan notum with rounded tubercles. There are no distinct longitudinal ridges in any animals of this nudibranch.

The oral veil is wthitish with a few dark brown specks,has rounded corners and a pink to purple margin.

Similar are Dermatobranchus pustulosus,Dermatobranchus fasciatus and Dermatobranchus semilunus.

Sea snails of the Familiy Arminidae generally eat soft corals and sea pens.It is often seen burrowing in sand.
