Husbandry

Okenia distincta Baba, 1940

The body is small and elongate with up to ten papillae along each side. Papillae are scattered over the dorsum. T

The papillae are relatively short with small inflated, rounded tips. The rhinophores are cylindrical in shape.

Teh background colour is a translucent straw with an opaque mottling of cream and brown.Okenia distincta feeds on the bryozoans genus Amathia.

Very similar in shape and papillae are Okenia angelensis, Okenia zoobotryon and Okenia mija.
