Flabellina cynara (Marcus & Marcus, 1967)

Flabellina cynara is commonly known as 'Swimming Cynara'.The sea slug uses use their cerata to swmin itself through the water.

The body is deep pink with white spots.The long, thin cerata are a translucent, salmon-orange in colour with white speckling. The foot is purple bordered.

This nudibranch feeds exclusively on hydrozoon polyps
